Ask to Design is carried out in partnership with Turin’s Chamber of Commerce, to help companies and professionals in the design field meet the needs of potential clients.
The project was born to spread design culture in the world of manufacturing and to create opportunities for dialogue, knowledge and the development of professional relationships between local businesses and players in the world of design.
Ask to Design is a joint project by Turin’s Chamber of Commerce and Circolo del Design, in partnership with the Polytechnic University of Turin. Its goal is to facilitate and bring awareness to the encounter between companies and the professionals who can meet their design needs.
The project is designed to grow, and launches with a very first edition stemming from a preliminary phase that includes a training course offered to companies, to make them more aware of the real added value that design can bring to the business world. Thanks to the support of a work team at the Polytechnic University of Turin – using analysis models that are in part already tested in the field and in part elaborated specifically for the specific situation – companies are led to identify the limits and issues in their business that can be tackled and solved effectively using design. The final phase of the course aims to help companies identify the partner or supplier that is most suitable and best meets their needs, choosing from a database of local professionals and firms in the design field.
